Antiquarian book restoration and repair in Devon

After relocating from London back to her native town in East Devon, Claire Bujniewicz embarked on a bookbinding apprenticeship with the Dutch Bookbinder George Janssen and since set up Rushlow Bookbinding in East Devon. 

Working from her studio in Colyton, Claire restores and rebinds rare and antiquarian books. Using quality materials and Victorian tools, she sympathetically renovates volumes in keeping with the original design. Producing work with care and attention to detail and with a passion for fine craftmanship, Claire is trusted by churches, private collectors, and dealers. 

Claire holds a degree in English Studies from Southampton University and is a member of the Society of Bookbinders.
